Visit festival

It`s easy, but you have to get to Siberia first. After you are here you will join the festival and guests team that comes to Kansk annually from different cities of the world. All screenings and side events are free of charge.

Several travel options:

1. Tested, rather cheap, but long. If you travel from abroad you can fly to Moscow and then take the Transsiberian train to the station Kansk. We suggest there are a lot of travel agencies to help you with the train tickets, but if not - please contact us directly and we book tickets for you. Note, that the way from Moscow to Kansk will take around 4 days. Also you will travel 4 days back. But if you have plenty of time to enjoy Transsiberian railway, you`re welcome. You have to buy tickets to the station Kansk-Eniseysky. After you get to Kansk, you can order a taxi ot go by walk to the Festival\'s venue. Please remember just nobody speaks English in Kansk. So, please keep us informed of your visit!

2. Comfortable, but rather expensive. Unfortunately, the Kansk airport was closed many years ago. If you travel by plane, buy tickets to Krasnoyarsk city. There are some directs flights from European cities, but main number of flights to Krasnoyarsk are from Moscow, so it can be  long transit flight for you. There are several air-companies with direct flights:

Aeroflot, Utair, Transaero, S7

You can book your tickets online or ask your travel agency. Possibly, the festival team will also fly to Krasnoyarsk the same date and flight, in this case we`ll offer to you a free transfer from Krasnoyarsk to Kansk by festival bus (+ 4 hours).

As soon as you\'ve done all the above-mentioned things, you are welcome to the International Kansk Video Festival. Congratulations! The second main thing is your accomodation. We also offer you different ways:

1. "Glorious" Hotel Siberia. It is the largest hotel in the city. You will enjoy the Soviet hotel service on your own backs if you will not be able to book proper rooms (in Russian we say "refined room" - uluchshenniy nomer). It`s not a suite, but you will have a shower in your room! The hotel Siberia has one main advantage, it`s  cheap. For example, if you book a room with shower and toilet on the floor (there are some), it will cost dirt-cheap. Your decision!

2. Hotel Delika. Discovery of last festival. Very comfortable for guests, perfect rooms and service. The restaurant is in the same building, as well as billiard, sauna, shops and all other entertainments. The real lack of this hotel is its size. All the rooms can be sold out beforehand to the festival guests.

3. New hotel Yug. Cheap and very comfortable rooms. Attentive hotel staff (and this is very important). The dining room in the same buiding is an ideal of cleaness and whiteness. At the ground floor there is sauna and beauty salon. The local attraction point the Kansk Pine Forest is placed not far away from the hotel. The festival team and guests will live in the Yug, where a private night screenings and parties will be held during the festival.

So, now you have a hotel room and you intend to visit the festival events. The screenings will pass in the City House of Culture (GDK). All shows all free of charge. Welcome, watch and participate!
