2. Kansk Local History Museum
In 2001, the museum moved to one of the most beautiful buildings of the city, where in the early XX century there was the first in Siberia cinema theatre "Furor".

3. City central square
In the past the central square was named Sobornaya Ploshad. The complex of historical buildings is located here.
4. Svyato-Troizckiy Cathedral
The Cathedral is facing the Central square. It is the first stone-made building since the city was a big walled jail (ostrog). In the Soviet past, during the 20 century the building of the Cathedral have been used as a theatre and museum. Now it is a spiritual center of Kansk again. There are only 3 cathedrals that played historical role in Krasnoyarsk region of Siberia: Krasnoyarsk, Eniseisk and Kansk Cethedrals.

5.The monument to Yermak
The monument to Russian conqueror of Siberia. It was put up near the Local History Museum.

6. The monument to Unknown Artist
The monument was put up in 2009 during the International Kansk Video Festival. On the last congress of unknown artists it was decided to build the monument in unknown city Kansk. One of the uknown artists had got a commisson to realise this artwork.
7. Triumphal Arch
The copy of Tsar`s Gates which was built for Nikolay II (Russian Emperor) visit to Kansk in the end of 19th century. The oríginal Arch have been placed in the other part of the city, but it was later destroyed by communists. The rule for this place is to gather near the Arch in the evening and take photos.
8. Kansk Palm Tree Alley
Twenty public art objects - Siberian frost-resistant Palms - were built by children in 2008. That was the project of the DEZ#5, children art studio based in Moscow.

9. City House of Culture
The main festival`s venue, where the opening, awards ceremony and music program happen.

10. Kosmos Cinema Theatre
The main venue of the festival 2008. It is the only cinema theatre (and the only cinema projection), which is familiar to every inhabitant of Kansk.

11. Youth Centre Voskhod
In 2002 the festival was launched here. In the framework of the large cultural project Kulturdrang Nach Osten the first screenings have passed. From 2002 to 2007, Voskhod have been the only festival`s venue. Now the screenings for kids and master-classes take place in the Voskhod.

13. House of Vladimir Zazubrin
The house of the author of the first Soviet novel "Two Worlds".

14. House of Jaroslav Hacek
In May 1920, in this house the famous writer Jaroslav Gashek married Alexandra L`vova, the daugther of a local merchant. Here he has been writing his famous book "Good Soldier Svejk" during the period of stay.

15. City Exhibition Hall
The festival exhibition projects are held here.

16. State Kansk Drama Theatre
The theatre was opened in 1907, and recently it has celebrated the centenary. During many years its small venue for 250 seats is attracting the educated audience of the city.

17. Tekstilshik Stadium
The big city concerts are usually held here. In 2007, in the framework of the festival closing ceremony, the historical performance of the world-famous jazz orchestra Shibusashirazu (Japan) happened here.
18. Local barber`s
In 2008, Bill Drummond, the worldwide recognised musician, writer and artist, has had his hair cut here. Along with the haircut in Kansk, he also recommended to run a bus # 17 to the terminus.
N. Kansk Art Poster Gallery
The project was realised in 2009 in Kansk city. The prominent Russian contemporary artists, Alexander Vinogradov and Vladimir Dubossarsky, created posters for the films from the competition program directly on the buildings` facades. The opening of the Kansk Art Posters Gallery passed on 29th of August 2009.

A small one, but respectable hotel. There are economy, standard rooms and suits. The large trade center is nearby, as well as billiard, sauna, restaurant and cafe.

22. Istok
The Internet partner of the festival 2008. Thanks to the Istok the free Wi-Fi zones appeared in Kansk for guests and participants comfort.

Òransport:
24. Train station
If you travel from Krasnoyarsk, you can take a suburban train to the station Kansk-Eniseisky. Tickets cost from 90 to 300 rubles.
25. Bus station
Buses to Kansk run from the Krasnoyarsk bus station. Fare from 230 to 270 rubles. Travel time: 3-3,5 hours.
26. Taxi stop
Fast and cheap way to reach any point in the city and outside.
